Legal notice
Publisher
Tuxery is published by a private individual, on a non-professional basis. As French law allows in that case (article 6, III, 2 of the loi pour la confiance dans l'économie numérique, LCEN), the publisher's identity is not shown here; it has been given to the host below.
Contact: info@tuxery.store — for any question about the site, a legal request or a privacy request. Questions about the catalog's data are best asked on GitHub.

Content
App names, descriptions, icons and screenshots belong to their authors and come from the sources listed on the sources page, under each source's own terms. Tuxery's code is free software under the AGPL-3.0-or-later. Background photos come from Unsplash, credited in the footer.
Privacy
Tuxery has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Here is everything that happens to data about you when you visit.
What the server sees
Like any website, the server that answers your requests receives your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser's user agent. Cloudflare, the host, keeps these as technical logs for Tuxery — used only to keep the site working and to investigate errors or abuse — for at most 7 days, then deletes them. They are not combined with anything else, shared or used to profile anyone. Legal basis: Tuxery's legitimate interest in running a working, secure site (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
Cloudflare is a US company; its processing of personal data is covered by its data processing terms and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
What stays in your browser
Your settings — theme, operating system, preferred install formats — are saved in your browser's local storage, so the site remembers them. They never leave your device: Tuxery's server doesn't read them. Clear your browser's site data to remove them. No cookie is set.
What other sites see
Pictures on Tuxery are loaded straight from where they are published: app icons and screenshots from the stores and projects that host them (Flathub, the Snap Store, GitHub...), background photos from Unsplash. Your browser fetches them directly, so those servers see your IP address, as they would if you visited them. Install buttons and links take you to other sites, which have their own privacy policies.
The catalog
Tuxery's catalog describes software, not people. Where a source names an app's developer or maintainer, that public information is shown as the source publishes it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of data about you, or object to its processing, by writing to info@tuxery.store. Since Tuxery itself stores nothing about visitors beyond the short-lived logs above, most requests are answered by that alone. You can also complain to the CNIL, France's data protection authority.
