About
Geeqie is a lightweight image viewer and image manager for Linux and other Unix-like systems. It supports fast navigation using thumbnails, multiple windows, and full-screen viewing. Images can be copied, moved, renamed, and deleted directly from the interface. Geeqie provides tools for managing large image collections, including keyword tagging, powerful search features, and a duplicate image finder. Metadata such as EXIF information can be displayed as overlays on images. Additional features include slideshow presentations and remote control via command-line scripts. Images are accessed directly from the filesystem without the need for import.
