Hardened security fork of VLC, A local-only audio and video player with themes

Screenshots & videos

About

AV is a open-source audio and video player that plays files from your own machine. It does not stream, cast, serve, discover devices, fetch metadata, check for updates, or connect to a network at all, Hardened fork of VLC with pretty themes and blobs stripped. That is enforced twice over. Every module that opens a socket is left out of the build, and this snap does not request the `network` interface, so snapd denies network access in the kernel regardless of what the code does. AV is a fork of VLC. Source is available at www.github.com/jegly/AV
